Evaluations

CablesPlus USA has the proven ability and resources to test, troubleshoot and repair your damaged TFOCA connectors and cable assemblies. Our evaluation, testing and repair services for TFOCA assemblies include:

  • OTDR trace assessment
  • Qualitative analysis of fiber endface microscopy
  • Insertion Loss testing
  • Inspection for physical defect

After the evaluation has been completed, a quote will be sent to the customer with a list of recommended repair options and an evaluation testing results package. Once the customer has responded to the quotation with a purchase order, work will commence on the repair.

Repair may consist of, but is not limited to:

  • Simple cleaning
  • Re-polishing of termini
  • Cut at break and retermination
  • Replacement of components
  • Total replacement of assembly
